Encouraging and Developing Community Participation
Although there are a number of local people who are heavily involved in activities to improve life in the area, there are many more who could contribute.

The main focus of the Building Communities programme is to ensure that community involvement is increased, is central to the whole NDC programme, and that local people are supported to take a leading role within the NDC area.
