"Better and more facilities are needed if the health of our communities is to improve."
The strategy for improving health in the NDC area is based on:
- The provision of new and improved health care facilities
- The redesign of existing services through greater integration between primary and secondary staff, as well as extended roles and new ways of working
- Community ownership of the new developments
The projects that are run under the NDC Health Improvement scheme all go towards making the strategy a reality for the people of Charlestown & Lower Kersal.
