Who?
The Community Health Action Partnership (CHAP) is a community-owned social enterprise, based in the heart of Salford, which was established in 2002.

What?
CHAP aims to:
•  Support all local citizens to lead happier and healthier lives
•  Help people who want to develop their skills and abilities to fulfil their potential
•  Be a healthy and happy enterprise that has the best possible impact for all local people and a sustainable world

How?
CHAP provides high-quality, personal and responsive services that make real improvements to people’s lives and communities. We always start with the strengths of individuals and communities and then enable them to use these in new ways.

Working with our customers, CHAP:
•  Creates tailored solutions to social issues
•  Delivers real outcomes
•  Provides extra social, economic and environmental benefits in all that we do

Positive impact
To have the best possible impact on the world, in everything that it does CHAP also:
•  Promotes social development that invests in the strengths of everyone
•  Helps to create and maintain a strong, sustainable and socially inclusive economy
•  Protects the environment and ensures prudent use of natural resources

There’s more...
All of our surpluses are reinvested into local services and communities – guaranteed.
