Disability Forum
Salford Disability Forum Open Forum, July 3rd 2007
NDC hosted the Salford Forum for people with Disabilities which packed out the Sports village on 3 July.
Caroline from NDC said "It was a great way to introduce people with disabilities and carers in the NDC area to the Forum, and to utilise the skills and knowledge of the people who organise the Forum and attend it.
Don and Barbara Tennant from Lower Kersal said "The Forum is a great place to go to get information and advice from agencies for people with all types of disabilities."
Josie Browne the Chairperson from the Forum said "The open forums are always well attended like the one today with 100 people attending from all over Salford. The Forum can assist anyone who has disabilities with any concerns or issues which affect them on a daily basis as well as at the Forums."
