A Development Framework for Charlestown and Lower Kersal
Please note that the Development Framework is currently under review, and an updated Strategic Development Framework will be produced later in 2011.
In January 2004 a Development Framework was approved which sets out ideas for the transformation of Charlestown and Lower Kersal until 2011.
Key elements of the Framework included:
- A safer more welcoming environment
- A greater choice of housing
- Better access to local services and places of work
- Support for existing and new businesses
The details in this document were correct at time of publication but there have since been changes that have been as a result of feedback from residents and the recent changes in the housing market.
